Wiki Rules

Effective April 1st, 2021, Fandom has mandated that all of its wikis clearly define their rules, in order to give all users the opportunity to contribute in good faith. See the Fandom policy here.

Rules

1. Do not harass other users. Please be respectful and civil. Language that degrades other people based on gender, race, sexual orientation, nationality, religion, etc. are not tolerated. Also, if a user asks you to stop posting on their Message Wall, please stop, even if you think there's nothing wrong with what you're posting; different things make different people uncomfortable, and it's important to respect people's personal space.
2. Do not intentionally vandalize pages. It's totally okay (and normal) to make mistakes when editing; don't worry, your edits are assumed to be made in good faith.
3. Avoid spamming. Please try to contribute meaningful content to the wiki. Excessive unsolicited and/or off-topic messages may bother other users and are not useful.

Breaking of the rules will lead to being blocked from the wiki. Minor offenses (such as spamming) will first receive warnings and guidance on how to avoid breaking the rules in the future. Major offenses such as user harassment may result in an immediate ban.

Style Guide

1. Try to match the style of other pages. A lot of wording is standardized so try to keep formats the same between similar pages.
   1. Do note I want to start condensing recipes on item pages until a more compress format (see Butter). Recipe names don't hav eto stick hard to their game counterparts, except when put on the Cooking page specifically, as long as it's consistent with other pages.
2. Use preloads to make pages. A little plugin should show "preload template" when you make a page. Use these to quickly make the standard layout for a page.
3. Upload .svgs or .pngs for image files. PNGs are generally 96x96 for items. SVGs can work for anything not in an infobox, so items still need to be pngs.

Not following these guidelines won't lead to you being blocked and such, but the page you worked on will be heavily edited to fit them.

Appealing Blocks

Most blocks will be considered on a case by case basis. If you would like to appeal a block, please open a discussion with an admin on their Message Wall. The current Poppy Seed Pets wiki admins are:

Some blocks are exceptions and cannot be appealed. These include:

• Fandom Terms of Use violations
• Users under 13 years of age (prohibited from making Wikia accounts by COPPA law)
